Alois is a member of the Knights of Seiros and one of Jeralt's former subordinates. He is an upbeat, boisterous, and overly excitable man who loves to tell jokes, although no one finds them funny. His friendly nature makes him approachable to most.

Recruitment
Alois can be recruited starting from Chapter 11, and only if Byleth has reached level 15. The player must choose the "Recruit" option when speaking to him during the explore phase. In the Black Eagles route, Alois is only recruitable during the explore phase of Chapter 11.
