Reinforcements
- On turn 10, or upon any player unit other than Mercedes/Caspar end their turn within three tiles of Mercedes/Caspar: 3 Dark Knights spawn from the left border, 3 Heroes spawn from the top right forests, 3 Snipers spawn above the Death Knight. On Normal/Hard, 2 of each reinforcement will spawn instead.

Notes
- Caspar does not necessarily need that much investment to defeat the Death Knight and get the Scythe of Sariel. He should be able to deal damage using a combat art like Helm Splitter with a high Might axe. The Devil Axe works well for this.
- It is possible to beat this paralogue with Caspar and Mercedes completely untrained. As long as you have high mobility options such as Warp and/or fliers and Stride, you can stop any enemies from reaching Caspar and Mercedes, just remember to stay at least four tiles away from them.
- There are lots of "Rock" terrain on this map, they are actually pieces of destroyed Golems.
- You can zoom into the cliff near the top of the map to find a rock bearing the Crest of Flames.
- The Dark Knight enemies on this map have Black Magic Range +1, yet do not have have any Black Magic spells to cast with it.
