Notes

  • The six Thieves in the middle of the map will not move until turn 4, or until a player enters within a 7x7 box centered at the central Onager (see map images). If a player unit enters the area, performs an action such as attacking or trading, and Canto's out, the Thieves will still trigger.
  • Attacking the Thieves from outside of the trigger zone will NOT make them start moving.
  • The Thieves are technically able to attack your units, as long as you have not triggered their fleeing AI by entering trigger zone. This can be done by placing a player unit 2 tiles left of the bottom left Thief's starting position.
  • After the Thieves start moving, they will prioritize escaping towards the nearest open escape point.
  • The Thieves will never attack or gambit you, even if all escape points are closed.
  • Each escape point is guarded by a Thief Leader, defeating them will close the escape point.
  • The four Thief Leaders will not move.
  • You will still be able to do this paralogue even if you obtained the Lance of Ruin after Chapter 5 by refusing to return it to Rhea with Sylvain recruited.
