Reinforcements
- For three turns in a row then skipping two turns: 2 Thieves spawn to the right of the Merchant. This repeats indefinitely until the Merchant is defeated.
- If Ingrid approaches the middle left Heal Tile and the Merchant has not been defeated: 6 Warriors (Brigands in Normal/Hard) and 2 Snipers (Archers in Normal/Hard) spawn around the Heal Tile.
- After approaching the right chest after the Merchant is defeated: 2 Thieves and 1 Warrior (Maddening only) spawn near the starting position.
- After approaching the large crater in the center after the Merchant is defeated: 2 Thieves and 1 Asassin (Maddening only) spawn in the top right.
- After approaching the bottom right corner of the map: 3 Warriors and 3 Brigands spawn near the escape point.

Notes
- If either Dorothea or Ingrid are not recruited, they will be replaced with an autoleveled controllable equivalent.
- Autoleveled Dorothea and Ingrid have their stats scaled up on Hard and Maddening mode.
- The battle preparation screen does not show most of the initial enemies.
- The Crater tiles will burn any unit that ends their turn on them for 20% HP. This burn damage cannot make a unit go below 1 HP.
